FACILITIES

There are many sporting, social and recreational facilities within the neighbourhood and several excellent shopping centres from which to choose.  Woodlands is only a few minutes from train and bus stations, shops and services at Pennant Hills and Cherrybrook, however, the Village offers many facilities.

Community Centre

The Village has its own air-conditioned Community Centre with spacious lounge room.  This is used for a variety of social activities, library, games room, two kitchenettes, piano and barbecue area.

Village Shop

A well-stocked convenience store is managed and operated by residents on a voluntary basis.

Swimming Pool and Exercise Room

There is a heated, outdoor swimming pool for use by residents.  Adjacent to the pool is an air-conditioned exercise room equipped with exercise machines.

Croquet

Adjacent to the Community Centre is the croquet lawn.  Friendly tournaments are contested throughout the year.

Village Bus

Used regularly for shopping excursions and outings, is the Village’s own 23 seater, air-conditioned bus.

Hairdressing Salon

Operated Tuesday to Friday, ' Lucy's Hair' offers a range of hair cutting, styling and colouring services.

Computer Club

One on one tuition.  The Computer Club has a broadband connection.

Camera Club

Basic training and using a digital camera.

Community Movie Theatre

Fortnightly movies screen in the Community Centre on large screen with theatre sound.

Dining Room and Lounge

The dining room overlooks the bushland reserve where the Great North Walk is close by, making for a delightful cool summer walk.  The meals at Woodlands Village are prepared and cooked on the premises, the quality and variation of our meals we believe to be amongst the best.  Both lounge and dining rooms are available to all residents.  A piano and stereo equipment are available for use by residents.  Foxtel television is also available.

Doctors Consulting

Two local doctors service the Medical clinic, however you may prefer your own doctor to make a home visit.
